Yeah i havent written here for 43 days. and what of it?!

Citizen Kane is definately one of my new favourite films and also one of the very few decent reasons for doing film bloody studies.

too much work right now. they've decided to schedule all my deadlines within two weeks of each other, then give me the whole of June off. WTF????!!!! Having June off will be sweeeet, of course: barbeques and refreshing gin & tonics a-plenty. but in the next two weeks ive got two projects, one essay and an exam to do, as well as celebrating my birthday, partying in london and visiting my family.

commence panic...now...

xfm nite: rules!
went down to islington academy last night for some well needed psyco-dancing! was a fantastic night, the djs played all the best songs (especially prodigy) and everyone was in the happy/chatty drunk mood! eg. the canadian dude who asked me if i had any cocaine. imean i know i looked like death, but come on! shame about the whole 'pint of beer hitting me in the head and drenching me from head to toe' fiasco, but... bovvered? also, another high point: hannah losing her skirt....

off to finchley road later, nandoes here i come! (oh wait, i'm a veggie, dammit!)

watford is great. and the 'new' new look there is even better. especially when u get a bootiful t-shirt and polka dot shoes all for the grand price of 16 quid. as i tend to shout when i'm shopping, "bargain"!

primark's good too.

ah yes, a difficult day of non-stop shopping and catching up on local gossip really makes ur week. especially when u know ur seeing razorlight on thursday!!! w00t w00t!

saturday nite. the eve of my easter holiday and... everyone's gone home already! arrrghgagagch! wot am i supposed to do? resort to using my imagination? don't be silly!

it's very scary in an eight bedroom house all by urself. especially when our resident ghost-cow (ie. the fridge) keeps mooing at me. and the hall light keeps flicking on for no reason... arrrgagagch!

so, in the absence of people to talk to:
what i must do (but probably won't) over the easter break:

* go swimming each week

* go out. a lot.

* finish writing my story

* do my film coursework. yes all of it!

* practice ma geetar

* rehearse with my band (i actually will do this)

* go see razorlight (and i bloody am doing this!)

and i will not:

* sit on the sofa all day watching black books and eating cereal a la the xmas holidays

man, i have had the most constructive day of all constructive days. first loads reading, then reading again. and then some. then loadsa playing guitar for many hours, then a bit of reading, then loadsa writing, then a little bit more reading then guitar playing again! i have absorbed and produced much knowledge today. the pride is overwhelming.

'astings
nightmares are the most insane drinks in the world

here's what u get: two wine glasses and two shot glasses, a different coloured shot in each. then the barmaid lights one wine glass and uses the fire from that to heat up the other. she then pours the firey liquid into a glass, followed by the two other shots and tells u to drink! needless to say, it's bloody mad (and verry hot)

that was just one of the many things we did in hastings, good weekend all round.

best night i've ever had at the union last nite. despite no-one being on the dance floor at first, house 10 (and a couple from 11) promtly changed all that! cue head banging, sixties dancing and spinning around as fast as possible whilst drunk without falling over. not to mention putting ice sown people's tops (more fun than u'd expect). then back to the house for drinking races, drunken fotos and dancing on the kitchen table.

woke up this morning in the kitchen, with a duvet put over me and a note on a kitchen towel for me from my fabulous housemates. still. very. drunk.

pizza tonite. fascinating, i know.

Mmmm, running is gooood
Ok so waking up at 7:45 wasnt my favourite experience ever but it seems going for a jog at 8 in the morning really does 'release the endorphins and make u happy', and as we all know (or as Vix tells me) people who are happy just don't kill their husbands (or ex-boyfriends).

It duz feel good tho to have metamorphasised into a healthy person, or 'energetic bastard' as it's apparently otherwise known. Huh, i wonder how long it'll last. I give it five minutes.
